Environment and Facilities

The AICS Primary and Secondary departments are located at Prinses Irenestraat 59-61 in Amsterdam. Our new location is highly accessible by car or public transport (less than a five minute walk from Station Zuid/WTC). The spacious four-storey building is situated in the quiet residential area of Prinses Irenestraat and provides space for 450 students from the ages 4 through to 19.

At AICS we provide a relaxed, modern learning environment for our students. Interactive touch screen SMART boards are available in every primary & secondary classroom. We have an ICT room, Library & Resource Centre (for Primary & Secondary), a number of language labs, 2 large science labs, a room for long-term experiments and a well-equipped science preparation room.

Some of our primary gym classes, and all of our secondary sports activities, take place in the local USC Sports Centre. Primary children are transported to the sports centre in the school bus, the price of which is included in any tuition fees. The USC, which is highly equipped to cater for many different sports and activities, is situated at De Boelelaan 46 in Amsterdam.
